Not sure what to say?

This is devastating to me. I knew Michael back in 1981 when he worked for the city of Bessemer. His office was a little train car on the edge of town with information on Bessemer and the area. I was new to town with 3 other girls and he was so helpful. Little did I know this was the start of a friendship that would just grow and grow!!!! I was his go-to prayer partner and we were never disappointed in the amazing answers. Oh the stories he would tell me. He would have me in tears from...

Michael was one of the truly great men in the world. He never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel comfortable. I as many enjoyed Michael's many stories, post and photos. Michael connected the past with the present to keep history and people together. If not for Michael I am sure many of us would have lost touch many years ago......You may be gone from this earth Michael but you will never leave my heart.......Love You Man.

I just wanted to share that Michael and me were both born in Pt. Clinton at Magruder Hospital and that both of our families were transferred to Huntsville within months of each other in 1960. We went through high school together and neither one of us knew this until a couple of years ago when I posted a photo of Magruder Hospital and he mentioned that he was born there too. He has also inspired me to pursue other avenues with my photography. Michael, you will be deeply missed.

I wanted to share that Michael and I attended school together from the first grade all the way to the 12th grade at BHS. If I knew I had forgotten but our birthdays are one day apart. With our last names both beginning with B's we were in homeroom together. The passing of Michael saddens me to the bottom of my heart.
Thoughts with all the family and friends.

Michael, you were a cherished childhood friend. You will always be the guy with the big smile who could always make me laugh.

You will be missed by so many! RIP Michael

Michael, you were a wonderful and loyal fb friend always making each of us feel special. Your love, friendship and pictures you posted on fb will be missed. You painted pictures for us with each picture and story you posted. I will remember your family and other loved one in prayer. You are greatly missed but my life is much richer by having known you.
