I moved in downstairs from Mike in August (2023) and he immediately introduced himself. Soon after I settled, we became well aquatinted and then we quickly became friends. We´d often chat on stoop and occasionally eat out together. I admired his sense of community, he was always cleaned up in and outside the apartment building and he constantly did charity work. Mike was the most generous person I ever met. I´ll truly miss him.

My condolences. I only have positive memories of you and your wife. You guys were very helpful especially in a time I needed it the most. Rest in peace

Mike was my Neighbor here in JC, lived right across the street on Barrow. My Husband Lou became Friends with Mike Volunteering @ St. Matthews food Pantry, helping the Needy. I met Mike, one day I had to Attend my Nephew's Christening & for some odd reason my car wouldn't start. Mike ran across the street to help me, but when we could get the car started he immediately said "Here Take Mine"...that is just a small example of who he was as a Friend & Wonderful Human. We connected with Music,...

Michael had a wonderful sense of humor, I enjoyed having him as a volunteer at our St.Matthews Lutheran Church food pantry. He always had a joke or good story to make me laugh .His spirit to serve and help others made our pantry successful.I will miss him and and miss not seeing him do all that he was able to help our mission to feed people.I remember asking him how he found us.He said he heard the church bell ringing on Sunday and he had to find out where it was coming from.Love you Michael...

To Michael´s loved ones, I am so sorry he left this world so soon. He was a valued member of the community, and such a positive force at the St. Matthew´s food pantry. His absence will be acutely felt at St. Matthew´s and throughout Jersey City. In your collective grief, I hope you get some comfort from the fact that he touched and positively impacted so many people.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Oh Mike, I am so beside myself. You were more than my partner at the food pantry, you were like my younger brother. I have let the neighborhood know. You are loved by everyone. I was so fond of you! We understood each other. Just know that you were loved. I miss seeing you at the pantry and at your stoop. I will forever treasure your friendship. May you rest in peace! My condolences to you family!
