Not sure what to say?

Great man and kazoo master! Still miss him.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Michael's passing. He was a wonderful guy and I have missed him dearly.

Michael....you were so alive just a moment ago. You always brought a smile to my face and my office and the neighborhood will truly miss you. Rest in peace.

We met Michael in 1999 in London and spent 3 great weeks with him touring all over Europe and we shared some great times and have some terrific memories. Reading the obituary reminded us so very much of Michael and who we came to know and appreciate. Our heart felt sympathy goes out to Shirley and all the rest of Michaels' family. Everyone who met him was better for the the experience.

Michael.....I was going to write quite a bit, but now think that we will just say how much you've meant to our family for so many years. What a wonderful father, brother, uncle, friend and husband. You will be missed by everyone whose path you ever crossed. Our thoughts are with Shirley, Garret, Kami, Howard and your beautiful grandchildren. ~ The McColloms

Michael, it just won't be the same without you stopping at the corner to talk. You were a wonderful person and I'll miss your Christmas party. Shirley, Yvonne and I will keep you in our prayers. God Bless

I always looked forward to seeing Michael, or Mikey as I teasingly called him every Thursday morning at Bixby Golf! The first thing I did when I arrived was to look for his red VW Bug. As others have testified he brightened my day. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Mike and I became good friends at LBCC and Long Beach State, even rooming together in the Heights. We renewed that friendship after my daughter moved to Naples. Since then, I saw Mike a few times and even reminisced over beers at Joe Josts and The Annex. He was still the enjoyable, funny, and bright person I remembered. I will miss the visits very much.

Deepest sympathy
