To the Brown Family who I extend my deepest condolences for our loss of one of the most inspiring Fathers, friend and City workers that anyone could ever ask for. I had the privilege to worked with Mick during the late 80's and early 90's at Tures Yard, Alum Rock and Lake Cunningham Parks. Dear Judy, Nick, Justin and Brad,
I recently learned of Mick's passing after reconnecting with Justin at Aromas Day. I am so sorry you lost a loving husband and father. He was so dynamic and touched the lives of so many individuals as well as whole communities.
I fondly remember helping make Mick's vision for Anzar fundraising a reality. We had such good times working together as a team. My love and sympathy goes out to your friends and family who must miss him so much.

Mick, it was more than an honor working with you the last 24 years personally thank you for the nick name (teacup) you gave me. You were always a good example of what a City employee should be. When you received the Mayors Pride of San Jose Award we were not surprised because just knowing the type of person you were it was the right thing to do. Thank you for cooking at my Retirement lunch. I won't say goodbye I will just say so long because we will meet again. Your friend & co-worker

To Judy and the Brown Family, I send my sincere condolences from the southwest.
I will have always fond memories of Mick---as a wonderful person and excellent city worker who was gifted in many ways.
It is VERY tough to deal with his passing at such an early age and so soon after he retired. But I find inner peace in knowing that he is alive and well in Heaven now and will never suffer again.
Thank you Mick for coming into our lives and making the world a much better...
