Michael Tuan Bui

Michael Tuan Bui, age 42, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Michael was born on April 26, 1977, in Jasper, Alabama. Michael was a kind and warm hearted person who enjoyed making others laugh, and he touched many lives. He had a passion for his work in law enforcement and at Thomas Bui & Sons. He was part owner of Thomas Bui & Sons, a Police Officer at the Lewisville, Arkansas Police Department, a former Sergeant at the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, and a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mi Thi Le, grandfather, Cay Dinh Bui and uncle, Sang Van Nguyen. Survivors include his mother and father, Thomas and Mary Bui of Texarkana, Arkansas, son, Lucas Bui of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother, sister-in-law and two nieces, Nelson, Angie, Jade, and Jewel Bui of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Aaron Creech of Dallas, Texas, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation will be on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. with Rosary services to follow at 7 P.M. at the Texarkana Funeral Home (4801 Parkway Dr, Texarkana, AR). Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at St. Edwards Catholic Church (407 Beech St, Texarkana, AR) with Rev. James West, Rev. Dominique Do Duy Nho, Rev. Louis Pham Hu Do, and Rev. Jack Thach Vu officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
