Michael Roy Burgess

Dear Mary, I have many emails from Michael in trying to help me locate my father's father. Although Burgess was a connection, he brought me to the Hancock name. What an amazing man he was. I am saddened by his loss. We spoke of cancer, as I am a survivor. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and the vast knowledge he shared with so many, but the loss for his family will be insurmountable. In Michael's words. '" All my best."'

Mary, I am so sorry - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Michael was a very special person.

Michael brought cousins from around the world together in his book, history of the Burgess Family..he was a wonderful, thoughtful person and will be greatly missed by all of us.
