Not sure what to say?

Mike is easily in my TOP TEN for people whom impacted me in such a positive way. He readily offered a quip of joke and he was an encourager. He reminded me there is no such thing as can't. I will forever treasure our friendship. He was like a big brother. Happy birthday in Heaven my friend! I was an ambassador at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City in 2004 when we met. I recall you were reading Theodore Rex, but had came down to pick-up dry cleaning and the cleaner had ruined at least...

Known Mike since 2004 when he was staying at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, Tennessee where I worked as a concierge. The dry cleaner had lost all of Mr. Burns nice dress shirts so the hotel had me take him shopping. From there we became fast friends and remained in touch for a decade and a half. Mike wrote the prefaces for each book in my Understanding Apples Series. I've always counted him a close friend. Feel blessed for the time I had with him. Reach out if there's anything I...

Mike will be missed dearly. I’m glad to have known him and can say he was one of the good guys.

Mary and Caitlyn, I am so sorry to learn about Mike. He was a wonderful neighbor to me. Always so friendly and helpful. He took pride in everything he did. My sincerest sympathy to you both. He will always be remembered. God bless.

We are so saddened by the loss of our dear friend and son´s Godfather. Mike, you will forever remain in our thoughts and hearts. You have made an everlasting impression on each of us! All of our love and prayers go out to Mary, Caitlyn and the Burns family. We are so so very sorry for your pain and sadness and wish we could take it away for you. We love you all and are here for you for anything you need and we hope you know you can lean on us. Mary and Caitlyn I cannot wait to hug and hold...

Mary and Caitlyn, my deepest sympathies. Michael had a sincere and dedicated heart of gold. He touched a lot of people with absolute kindness and love. You have not lost a Husband and a Father; he is up there doing what he does best----looking down, praying and helping anyone who needs help. Rest In Peace, Mike
