Michael Shane Butler, 54, of Cookeville passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his home. He was born June 15, 1962 in Putnam County, Tennessee to Wallace and Clydean Peek Butler of Cookeville. Mike was a salesman.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Hannah Butler of Knoxville; brother, Kyle Butler and wife Wendy of Hixon, TN; niece and nephew, Madison and Cameron Butler of Hixon; the mother of his daughter, Melinda Butler of Knoxville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Presley Funeral Home with James Rogers officiating.
