I enjoyed palying with Mike when with the Lions. I made a point of befriending the big guy as I was not that big. I enjoyed watching Mike play as he was big and tough.

I missed not seeing Mike after I left the Lions during the many get-togethers and award presentations we had for our '64 Grey Cup Team.

Mike, our good neighbour since 1968,we will miss you.You were a caring, friendly individual who always had the time of day for all.Whenever we drove by we would always get a wave and you took the time to stop to enjoy a good neighbourly visit.You loved the neat a tidy look of your home ever since we have known you.The trees were always trimmed,grass was cut with nothing out of place.The neighbour we all looked up to, the leader of the neighbourhood. I remember our fishing ventures well. Occasions shared with Mike were always joyous and fun, including those early morning bus rides from Whalley to New Westminster.
