Mike was my best friend in life. We served in VietNam together and he helped me thru those days. He was the kind of friend you would always want to have. No matter what you had to tell him, he was always there for you. When Mike was your friend you knew that he would jump in front of a bullet for you. He was a true country boy. Loved Tennessee. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the funeral. I have wonderful memories of Mike during high school and later on in college with him and his friend Tony. I recently found letters Mike had written me while he served in the Navy. He had beautiful hand writing and was always so kind. I send my prayers and condolences during this time of loss.
