Not sure what to say?

sparkle in our neighborhood

We first met Michael at a block party on 9th Ave several years ago, and connected over BBQ and gopher-fighting strategies. He was a considerate neighbor and a quintessential California outdoor guy, with an obvious soft spot for hungry cats. We love his bright garden with all the California poppies. His gravel drive with its extra colored glass bits always makes little kids marvel and widen their eyes. Later, we admired his stoicism during the last 19 months, and have missed him very much.

Very sad to learn that he has passed away. So soon. Our sincere condolences to his family.

We had the pleasure of having Mike play golf with us (and put us all to shame) on a number of occasions. We always enjoyed having him with our crew. We'll miss his blue shoes, sweet swings, and easy going vibe. I'm sure you're making all those putts now Mike!

Mike was the epitome of hard work and a great guy. He also volunteered with the Stanford equipment staff when he had a chance. Titan vs. Cardinal ball games will not be the same without Mike. Matty, myself and the rest of our equipment staff will miss your presence. RIP my friend.
