I recall, many years ago, Mike Canterino would pop in our office (I worked with Margie at the court system). Often she was in court, and he would sit and we would have enjoy a half-hour conversation. He would share many of his WWII stories with me, and I never failed to be impressed and awed by his bravery as a young man fighting for the freedom of the world from the terror of Adolf Hitler. He made them exciting and interesting. He was a part of something great. He, along with every...

I recall, many years ago, Mike Canterino would stop by our office (I shared an office with his daughter Margie). Margie would often be in court, and MIke would pop in to see her and say hi, and then spend about a half an hour talking to me. He shared all his war stories with me and I loved hearing them. Wonderful memories I have of him, and his entire family. He's got a place of honor in Heaven, as do all of our veterans.
