I met Mike Caplan around 45 years ago when I was a young guy pumping gas at a Citgo gas station in Woodlawn md. Mike was a part time mechanic, while serving as a Baltimore City Firefighter. For a couple of years Mike and I worked together and became friends. I was in search of a career and Mike pushed me towards the City Fire Department. A good man with a very god sense of humor. I could always get him to laugh. I rode motorcycles with Mike a few time. He was a skilled rider and you could tell, when he was on the bike he was having a great time. Mike, my old friend, You will truly be missed by quit a few people. Rest in peace.
