Not sure what to say?

I didn’t know Mike had passed until I had lunch with Margaret Harding this summer.
I grew up with Nike and his siblings. Went through Christ the King. Our mom’s were best friends.
Summer evenings playing kick the can, climbing the awesome trees in the backyard. Sitting around the kitchen table. Playing cards.
I am so very sorry to hear about this.
I’m sure he and Gen are blessing heaven.

Lisa,
What a great day i had with you and Mike searching for a chair. Though I only met Mike twice I might as well have known him well for a lifetime. What a wonderful man. Murphy and I are so touched and sorrowful at his passing.

Michael was truly a pleasure to work with in our business relationship over his many years with Schwartz Brothers. I appreciated his expertise and firmness in our dealings, but also that he was always fair in our project business outcomes. An extremely knowledgeable man in so many ways. A true Food Service Professional! I will sincerely miss him for sure.

Mike, Lisa and the girls have been great neighbors for over 15 years. He has always been a role model-quality dad and super neighbor. His positive attitude about life was shining brightly the entire time, even in this last tough stretch. We are still stunned that this great guy was taken at such a young age and he will leave a big hole in our neighborhood. Mike, cheer on those Huskies for us, maybe you can pull some strings for us and get some extra wins, I know you would like to see...

My deepest condolences and blessing to Lisa and the girls along with the Schwartz Brothers team. Michael was instrumental in starting my career with Cucina!Cucina! and I feel blessed that he was my boss.

Mike I will miss you my friend. You were a true gentlemen and one of the toughest son of a guns I have ever known. My heart goes out to your family. Truly a very tough day.

Lisa, Lauren, and Shannon- I want you to know that although Mike and I did not stay in touch as much as we both would have liked since he left Black Angus but when we were able to talk it was like time never passed. Lisa, as you know Mike was a great man and mentor to me. I have and always will think about him and what he taught me throughout his years at Black Angus. He taught me the importance of great communication, honesty, hard work, character, and how to balance family life with work...

My condolences to Lisa and family. I had the pleasure of hiring Mike at the Elliot
Black Angus as a bus boy in 1967. After he graduated from UW he became part of the management team and really set up the training program for the future managers of the company. I will miss him as he was one of the good guys.
