Michael Joseph Casey Passed away peacefully on August 17, 2007 in San Francisco, CA, two days shy of his 82nd birthday. Mike was the devoted father of Michael (Grace), Rosemarie, Anthony (Debbie), James (Cathy), Joseph and Thomas. He cherished his grandchildren Sean, Gina, Kevin, Erin and Jake....

Uncle Mike was one of those bigger than life characters that used to dominate San Francisco. Quick witted, fun loving and absolutely devoted to public service, Mike was my mother's brother who protected her long before he protected his country during WWII in the US Navy and his city for thirty years as a devoted SFPD member.
He never met a piano he wouldn't pound in classic one handed rag time tradition.
You had a good run, Mike. Say hi to Grandpa Casey for us...

Mr. Casey, I remember all so well all those wonderful moments with your family and yourself. You were always a kid at heart, and your smile always lit up our hearts.
