Not sure what to say?

Mr castore was my principal at McClellan elementary in 1981. He looked like Santa Claus, and I thought he was because he was so kind and smiling. I was a recalcitrant child and Mr castori handled me with kid gloves. I distinctly remember asking him what happened to his arm, to which he said there was an accident while he was hunting and a shotgun discharged. Reggie theus taught me how to shoot free throws that year at McClellan elementary, but the next year I was off and running in...

Mr. Castori, I met you 35+ years ago as a little girl at Castori elementary. I never forgot you, you were the best principal & You made Castori an amazing school with memories I´ll cherish forever! I will never forget when you saved a students life who was choking on a piece of chicken! With one arm, you ran over and did the Heimlich on him with such ease! You were looked up to by so many young souls. Thank you for being you, may you Rest In Peace -Tabitha

My husband Jack Hubbard was in Mr. Castori's 7th grade classroom in 1941. He spoke highly of him throughout his life. Michael came to one of the class reunions many years later and I met him then. Jack went on to become a teacher and coach in the Grant District. I cut out the obituary hoping to go to the services but was not able to attend. I just came across the clipping and felt compelled to send my belated condolences to his family.

My condolences to the Castori family, He was a great principal at B.W. Babcock grade school in the 1960's

Mr. Castori was not only my principal at Babcock School from 1959 thru 1966 but also my boss when he hired me as a teacher's aide from 1975 thru 1977 school years. I always loved and adored Mr. C even when he gave me a well-deserved swat when I was in the 6th grade. He was always a good listener, fair and fun when he joined us in carnivals, baseball games and Halloween parades. I'm thankful that a school was named in his honor. I feel privileged that I knew Mr. Castori and may he rest in...

To a man who taught many young minds
Delivering information on many finds
Despite the Sadness of a passing Soul
His memory lives on and still takes its toll
From a Happy Hippie to an Educated man
I'll try to brighten the world as much as I can.

Our condolences to the Castori family especially Fr. Michael of All Saints who spoke so fondly of his father.
