Cavaluzzi, Michael Nicholas Entered Eternal Life on August 28, 2014 at the age of 84, after a long and gallant struggle with cancer. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Nee Hilling) Cavaluzzi. Loving and supportive father of Nicholas, Mark, Melinda (Rob DDS) Harrison, Peter (Angela), Andrew and Lisa Cavaluzzi. Devoted grandfather of Alison, Michelle and Jenna Harrison; Caroline, Andrew and Joseph Cavaluzzi. Dear brother of Joan (Dan) D'Onofrio. Michael was born in Elmira, NY on September 6, 1929. Graduate of the University of Kentucky, 1952. Graduate of the Officers Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island, 1953. He was proud to have served his Country as a lieutenant in the Navy during the Korean War. Michael was president of Electro-Mechano, Inc., a member of St Eugene Parish and the Equestrian Order of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre. Michael was a true gentleman and dedicated Catholic with strong moral character. He was a wonderful provider and loyal husband. He was always determined to see that his family was safe and secure. Michael was a man of faith who left this world singing and will be remembered as saying he "sang his troubles away". To celebrate Michael's faith and life there will be a Memorial Mass held on October 10. The family will greet friends at St Eugene Catholic Church in Fox Point from 4:30 until 6:00 PM, with Mass beginning at 6:00 PM. Memorials in Michael's name may be made to St Eugene Parish, 7600 N. Pt. Washington Rd., Fox Point, WI 53217 or the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University, PO Box 1881, Milwaukee, WI 53201.
