Not sure what to say?

My mentor, Mike Cavataio, at a North County Lifeline fundraising event

Vista lost a gem in Mike's passing. My treasured memories of civic duties in my long residency in San Diego North County (1983-2011) included Mike. I have always made it known to Mike and to the public how I feel about him. Before I joined the Board of Directors of North County Lifeline, I asked Mike about the organization. I figured if he is involved in it, it must be a good group. I have utmost respect for him and for his opinion. I consider Mike my mentor. He has a huge caring and kind...

We were so sad to hear of Mike's passing. We worked with him on land loans many years ago--and found him kind, warm, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. We just learned about his passing today when we called to talk with him about construction financing. His colleagues at the bank are still, I can tell by their voices, feeling the loss of a beloved colleague and mentor. We mourn his passing, but feel fortunate to have known him.

We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. What a great human being. We've known him since RVNB and we've been banking with him ever since. We will miss him as good friend and loyal customer. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP

Gino and Nancy, Olympic Auto Body

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that time will lessen your pain.

I have known Mike for 25 years. He was my banker and firend for that entire time.
He had a great heart and was always willing to help a good cause.
He will be missed and will leave a large gap in the Vista community.

My heart goes out to Cindy and family. In my time in Vista, we shared many experiences, including Kiwanis and the infamous softball team. Mike was honest, real, and caring. Mike will always have a special place in my heart and memories.

We are so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and co-workers. It broke my heart to go into the bank and not see him sitting behind his desk. He will be greatly missed but thought of often. With Deepest Sympathy

Cindy,Matt and Family,Mike was my best friend and mentor,we shared everything.Itruly think that when some one says you can take that to the Bank that was Mikey!!!! I never herd him say anything negative about anybody! He would always say it's just a BUMP in the road, will get through it. I love you Mikey you will always have a place in my heart!!! Please save me a chair. Love ya Mike Patti

With deepest sympathy to the family during your time of grief...God is for you a refuge and strength, A help that is there to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.
