Not sure what to say?

Mike Sure, miss you, you were a tremendous Steel Metallurgist who helped me over the years. I surely remember coming over to Mac Steel and going upstairs into your office and asking for a Steel chemistry. We also had a lot of fun playing Hockey with Dick Grimes also. What a great Era. I'll see you on the Heavenly Hockey rink.... Tom

This is just devastating news. We were reminiscing tonight about the Ceh and Fior family get togethers. Mike was alway a sweetheart. Condolences from the Fior family. So sad.

Just saw this...saw a name on tv which reminded me of Mike´s last name. So I googled him and saw the obit. We graduated together from HS and went to OSU. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though we haven´t seen each other in a very long time, I´ll always remember him as a extremely bright and really fun guy. Prayers to Michael and his family.

Jacob just saw the news Sorry to hear of your loss Wish I would have been there Coach Brogan

I worked with Mike for his last 10 years at macsteel, he took me under his wing and taught me everything I could learn. Definitely came up short of his vast knowledge of material science. What I will miss most is our talks about our kids, sports, hunting and fishing. Mike always was proud of his kids and what they accomplished. I will miss our talks.

Too soon. There are good memories of Mike from the time of our first meeting to our last trip to Saginaw.

Very sad to hear of Mike´s passing. I worked with him at MACSTEEL for many years and will never forget our many conversations about metallurgy and life. Rest In Peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of working and sharing an office with Mike at both US Steel and Macsteel. A work colleague I always valued as a friend. We had many conversations over the years about work, family, hobbies, and life. He brought enthusiasm and a can do attitude with him every day. Good guy, I´ll miss him.

My deepest condolences to Mike´s family. Having worked with Mike, he was a consummate professional. He always had kind word and friendly smile. I will miss him. May his soul rest peace Neil Sharpe
