So sorry to hear about the loss of your father (my grandfatehr). Wish I had gotten to know him better. I do know he has loving chidlren who have stayed so close through the years! I thank heaven for the gift of my wonderful Uncle Mike. He taught me a lot about accepting what will be, will be, and accepting people for who they are, not for who someone else wants them to be. He taught me to try to take each day at a time, and he inspired me and encouraged me during the years my parents were dying.

I could not have wished for a better uncle, a person who really cared about other people, especially, the least, the lost and the last. I pray we shall all be...

Though you may never have said it out loud .I know that you were really proud of what I have become. I owe who I now in part to you . Both the good and the bad experiences that I had as a children affect me , in one way or another. What I choose to do with the memories and lessons from my childhood determine what kind of adult live I have. Dad you helped to mold me into woman I am today, in one way or another.
