Not sure what to say?

The McKee family extends is condolences and profound respect to the Chirigos family. The "McKee Boys" attended Wootton High School with Mr. Chirigos' children in the 1970s. We pray for God's continuing grace to you all, and salute the wonderful life and family of Michael A. Chirigos Sr.

My sympathies to the Chirigos family. Dr. Chirigos is the story of an American hero. Fought for his country in WWII, went to medical school, raised an exceptional family, and continued to edit medical journals after he retired. I am proud to have known and worked with him.

The entire Chagetas and Tselepis families send their sympathy to Mary and the family. Mike was so well loved by everyone who knew him. He was truly a great human being. He will be missed.

Though I only met Dr Chirigos a couple of times, I know how much he means to his daughter, Melanie, and her children, as well as the rest of his family. My heart goes out to you all in this difficult time. I will be keeping you in my prayers.

Deepest sympathy from the Tsottles family. Mike and I played football for McDaniel (Western Maryland College)and were roommates. We shared many special moments. I am grateful for our fellowship. May God keep and heal you at this darkest hour.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mike. I have many fond memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, her girls and their families.

We were so blessed to have Dr Chirigos in our lives. His unconditional love for friends, family and country is a great model for us all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

On behalf of the entire Wolfe family I would like to express our condolences to the Chirigos family at this time of loss. Dr Chirigos was and is a great guy and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

We miss the loss of our friend and colleague. Our thoughts and sympathy go to Mary and their family.
