Mike's IBM "bluepages" photo

This is Mike's IBM internal photo and he spoke often of getting back on his bike. I miss Mike's extraordinary ability to cut to the chase and inject stories that made light of big company politics! Mike was fantastic to work with; he developed material for a workshop with me just as his health was impacting his life 2 years ago. Mike's only complaint - that he wasn't able to travel to Asia and deliver the workshop! My sympathies to Mike's family and friends - we all lost a "salt of the earth"...

I just heard of Mike's passing. I was fortunate to work with Mike at Amoco. Mike was one of the greatest story tellers of all time. I often think about those stories and they always bring a smile to face. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences and prayers to Mike's family.

My deepest sympathies on Mike's passing. I had the pleasure or working with Mike for a couple of years and had the utmost respect for such a great person.

To Mike's family: Mike was a wonderful colleague with a great smile and happy laugh Our team at IBM will miss him greatly and remember him fondly.

Deepest condolences. Have so many fond memories of our times growing up, going to Wisconsin, living with us for a time, shooting off fire works on the 4th of July, fishing. You were the brother Carol and I never had. To Patricia, Michael, and Kristen....you are in our thoughts and all our prayers during this difficult time. May you find peace in the knowledge that he is no longer suffering and that your memories will fill the void in your hearts. God Bless you all.

Alice, Steve,...

Michael, Aunt Mel and Uncle Harry send their prayers. They're wishing you could fish one more time. Sympathy to your family. They're keeping all of you close to their hearts. Aunt Mel and Uncle Harry.

Michael, you will be missed. It was a long fight. We know your true heart was much bigger. Our sympathy to Pat, Michael, Kristen and their loved ones. Carol & Mike Fogarty. Love you all!

Pat and family, we are sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family. Mike was a great husband and father. I will fondly remember my cousin and the many family gatherings we shared. Mike's personality and smile filled any room he was in. I admired the way he lived life large and always quick with a story or a joke. Cathy and I send our love to you.
