Not sure what to say?

Dear Churchman Family, Michael Churchman made a real difference in my life. I didn´t come from a college-educated family, and the college application process was unfamiliar territory, to say the least. As my college advisor at Barstow, Mr. Churchman brought wisdom and sensitivity that not only helped me navigate that process successfully, but also calmed my anxious parents enough that they would allow me to go further than anyone in our family had gone before. It warms my heart to remember...

Mr.Churchman was the headmaster of Barstow School for several years while I was there.....He was a very kind & intelligent man that cared about his students......My condolences to his family and friends.

Dearest Churchman family, Your father/husband was a very important person in the life of the Marquis family as a close friend, and as a headmaster. We will miss his presence in this world but are imagining the delight Anne and Austin are feeling in welcoming him to the other side. Our heart goes out to all of you and a warm embrace for you, Jean. You are in our thoughts. Love, Marcia & Celia, Marc & Paul

Jean, Nina, Julia and Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Churchman, as he will always be to me was such a force in so many lives. He led by grace and kindness. He had a willing smile and challenged us all to strive for knowledge, to be our best and more important to give our best. He had infinite patience with me, a much needed quality and he truly cared about his students, his school, his faculty and the Kent Community. His impact on my life will remain with me always. I grieve with you...
