Michael Clark Obituary

Michael Wayne Clark

Louisville - Michael Wayne Clark, 66, of Louisville, KY passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020. He was born on June 22, 1954 in Bardstown Kentucky to the late Gene and Della Mae Clark (Mills). Mike was preceded in death by his brothers Richard, Dennis, Tony, and Glenn Clark.

Mike is survived by his wife Barbara (Oechslin), his children, Lauren Embry (Charles), Phil (Ashley), and Alan. Mike leaves to mourn his passing his four grandchildren, Jacob and Logan Embry, and Allison and Avery Clark. Survivors also include his siblings Kathy Combs (Ronnie), Mark, Timmy, and Scott Clark. Mike will be dearly missed by his extended family, which include his aunt, Susan Thompson (Ed), mother in law, Dolores (Feldkamp) Oechslin, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, his in-laws, and numerous friends.

Mike was an entrepreneur, business owner, and an integral part of the St. Rita Parrish Community. He was a devout Catholic who loved spending time with his family at Nolin Lake where he retired and lived the final years of his life with his beloved wife, Barbara.

The family planned a private service at St. Rita, to be followed at a later date by a celebration of Mike's life with family and friends. In lieu of sending flowers, Mike's family requests that donations be made in Mike Clark's name to the PKD Foundation (PKD Foundation) Foundation at PKDcure.org.

I met Mike and Barb through my wife, Tracy Thompson Delgado. While we didn´t share lots of time together, the time we did share taught me of the kindness and love in his heart. Mike was a special person, the world needs more beautiful souls like his. I´m thankful to have known him and am certain he has a special place w the Lord. My heart is w Barb, Alan and the family. May memories of Mike always bring you a warm smile knowing your life included living w one of the Lord´s finest.
