As an area sportswriter who had the privilege of working alongside Mike at various events over the years, I always knew him first as a terrific person and secondly as a very good and professional sportswriter. It just seemed that, at local events, he always knew dozens of people, which is evidence of how well he was liked in the region. He will be missed greatly. Those of us who are your baseball umpire brothers in SBUO are thining of you in this most difficult time. Stay strong my friend.
