West Springfield – Michael P. Collins, 38, died peacefully Monday morning at home.  Mike was born in Springfield, son of Nancy (Reagan) Collins, Fred Smith and Richard Collins, and lived in Westfield most of his life before moving to West Springfield recently.  He attended Westfield High School and worked as a Machinist for the DFF Company in Agawam.  A member of the Christ Community Church of Hampshire County, Mike loved the beach, swimming, hiking, kayaking or anything to do with the outdoors.  He also liked to fish with his stepdad at Hampton Ponds and hang out at Camp Jahn.  Mike excelled in sports whether it was BMX racing, hockey, baseball, or football and was a huge Tom Brady Fan.  He was predeceased by his mother Nancy and father Richard, he leaves two sisters Theresa Bailey Fathi-Ahmed and Tammy Tejeda; his beautiful girlfriend Annalin Holland and was uncle to Christina Guiel, Alyssa Blake, Marissa and Maryanne Perez, Shane, Shantel, and Noah Senior.  He also leaves his stepfather Fred Smith. Pauly, 5 years since I was able to hug, laugh and hear your silly Sal prank phone calls to me. no time will ever fill the void of the loss of you in my life it’s the most difficult thing for me, loosing you, but blessed for the time 38 years we had. I know your still near I’m still finding the signs the excess coins and the challenges you love to put me thru I’m still keeping you in mind how tried to solve them and do better each time.

Mike, I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since you left us ! There was so much I wanted to say and looked forward to going places together. I miss our chats and joking around. Just know that your sister and nieces and nephews love and miss you every day! I feel so robbed of all the precious time we had lost and will never have again! My heart grieves til this day on how you had passed away! They say time heals all wounds but I’m not sure as yet because it still hurts so bad like it just...
