It's hard to think that you've been gone for so long. I miss you like I've missed you from the day you left me in Cincinnati!
The fireworks this year were just for you..."crunchy!" It was hard to enjoy them through the tears.
Sadie will be a jr this year, kent will be in 3rd grade and Maggie is me! She's 2.5 and though she looks like her daddy, she acts just like me....
We miss you, talk about you and pray for you daily.

It's been five years today since we lost you. I think about the plans we had for this day five years ago and how I felt once I heard the news. That feeling remains. There are some days that seem harder than others but the one constant that remains is that life just does not seem complete without you. How I miss you my dear sweet friend.
