I think about Mike quite often. Although we hadn't seen each other since 1970 we did chat via telephone every now and then.

I knew Mike since our High School days at Raytown and even though he was a couple of years older we became good friends. Last saw him 5 or 6 years ago in the KC area. Will miss seeing him and so sad to hear of his passing.

Here's to you, Mike!. Jody Maxwell
Mike was one of my dearest friends, and I talk about him on my Facebook page. We tried to talk about once a week last several years. I will write my thoughts here later as I am still getting over the shock of hearing of his passing.

This is a truly sad time in my life. Mike and I became friends in the third grade and spent the next 20+ years doing many things together until our lives took divergent pathes and we were separated by manyy miles. Our mutual love of baseball grew as we attended many KC Blues and KC Athletics games together. He was a great guy with a tremendous sense of humor and adventure. He was a real man's man. I will miss him deeply.
