Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of Michael the other day and how I had not seen him on my office recently... I had no idea this his how his journey ended. Tragic. I am so sorry. His presence will be certainly be missed. Rest peacefully, Michael.

Oh, Mr Cooley, You were such a sweet man, and a wonderful neighbour. You will be missed.

The Cooley Family were our next door neighbors on Lynnwood Drive for more years than I can remember. I have known Michael since we were children. The Cooleys and the Dunns were all such a part of each other's lives. Michael was always a sweetheart and when I saw him he always wanted to know how I was doing and what I was up to in my life. We talked about politics which we both enjoyed. He had an amazing mind and was so interesting to talk to about everything. He had so many interests but...

May you rest in peace. Michael was a very kind hearted men. He will be missed by many. I enjoyed working with him over my years at the courthouse. My thoughts are with his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's untimely passing. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up next to the Cooley family on Lynnwood Drive. Michael always had a smile on his face and a beautiful warm disposition. He made us all smile! Sending my sincerest condolences to Larry, Debbie and his family.

It was with great sadness when I heard the news of Michael's passing. He was kind, gentle and humorous. I am unable to attend his services, but wish to express my deepest sympathy to Michael's family. +

I´ve known Mike for several decades. He regularly visited my office for brief chats, discussing sports, politics, local events, and his family. Always upbeat and positive, he never uttered a discouraging word about anyone. Mike made the world a better place, and he will be missed.

Michael was an irrepressible source of laughter and good will; never an unkind word was ever spoken. He was a Board member at Pathlight for many years and I was honored to know him, and his wonderful family, when I worked at Pathlight. He was a wise man who understood the most important thing in life-love of your fellow travelers. May your journey home be a joyful one!

Growing up next door to Michael and the whole Cooley family was such an important part of my life. There were always adventures and trips that we shared together. The last time we saw Michael was at a Springfield semi pro basketball game and Michael was so animated. Our Texas team, the Vipers, was playing against the Springfield team so there was a lot of passion. Condolences to Larry and Debbie. Michael will be missed by everyone who knew him.
