I am saddened to hear of Mr. Corcoran's passing. I have to say I am shocked, as I was looking up my favorite teacher's name to send a thank you card for being such an inspiration to me, I was not expecting to see his obituary. I only wish I had done this days earlier......I am grateful for the opportunity to have had you as one of my role models, you had such a kind heart and the most contagious smile. What a gift to have known such a wonderful man. My deepest sympathies to Mike's family...

Mike and me at the awards . 1-31-09
My Brother Mike was great beyond words. I remember the year he was born during the week of the Armistice Day snowstorm in 1940.He was not only my brother but a great friend. This picture was taken at his Star Award Dinner where he received the Spirit Award for being instrumental in organizing the first Twin Cities 5K Lung Cancer Run/Walk at lake Calhoun in 2007, and over 1,00 people turned out for the second event in September 2008. I am so proud to say he was my brother.
