Michael J. Corley Jr, known as "Mikey" to most, passed away peacefully April 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 3, 1982 to Michael Corley Sr., and the late Judith (Larivee) Corley. Mikey graduated from West Springfield High School and was the owner of Mike Corley Painting and Wallpapering. Mikey enjoyed spending time with his dad, watching all of their favorite New England sports teams as well as their trips to the casino. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Patrick and Josephine (Mahalski) Corley, maternal grandparents Marvin and Eleanor (Sheridan) Larivee and his Uncle David and Aunt Susie (Cook) Larivee. Mikey leaves his father Michael Corley Sr, his three sisters; Jamie, Meghan, and Andrea and her partner Richard Allen, and their daughter Amaya, who he affectionately referred to as "Dupa Head."He leaves behind his Aunt Patty and Uncle Jim, who lovingly opened their home to him during his hard fought and courageous battle with cancer, as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, his K9 buddy Murphy, and many dear friends, especially Rich Johnson and his family. Mikey's family would like to say a special thank you to his former nurse Tara Robinson, his hospice nurses, especially Jonathan Miller, along with Dr. Yarlagadda at Lahey Hospital and everyone at the D'Amour Center for Cancer Care for their loving care and support. Calling Hours will be held TUESDAY from 4 to 7 PM at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST., W. SPLFD. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:45 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
