Biddeford, ME-Michael Alan Cote, 23, died suddenly at his home in Biddeford on February 9, 2018.
He was born in Franklin, NH on January 18, 1995.
He attended school in the Newfound School District and had been a handyman and subcontractor. Michael lived in the Alexandria/Danbury area before moving to Biddeford a year ago.
He enjoyed snowboarding and skateboarding. He loved to make people laugh, had an infectious smile and a huge heart taking in strays much of the time. His daughter, Ayla, was his whole world and he was a loving and caring father.
He is survived by his daughter, Ayla Grace and her mother, Amanda Bean both of Laconia, NH; his mother and stepfather, Melissa and Guy Brouillard of Alexandria, NH; his father and stepmother, Wayne and Melissa Cote of Northfield, NH; his sister and her boyfriend, Samantha Cote and Matt Vassey of Biddeford, ME; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret (Ford) Barnett of Danbury, NH; his step siblings, Greg Brouillard of Belmont, NH, Bryan Brouillard of Northfield, NH, Sara Rice of Northfield, NH, Alex Rice of Northfield, NH and Macaelyn Hamilton of Danbury, NH; his step grandparents, Loretta and Bob Brouillard of Alexandria, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins including Aunt Jen and Uncle Simon Barnett and cousin, Hannah Barnett of Danbury, NH and Aunt Lisa Jewell and cousin, Jake Jewell of Gilmanton, NH.
A celebration of his life will be held on February 24, 2018 at a time and place to be announced by the family. A graveside service will be held in Riverdale Cemetery, Danbury, NH in the spring.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Cote Memorial Fund established for Ayla Cote's education fund at any TD Bank.
