Not sure what to say?

I really don't know what to say. Summing up Mike in a short paragraph is a lofty task.
Mike let me live at his house for several months eight years ago. We had a blast, I was 21 at the time, he was a few decades older than me but it seemed like we were the same age. He was full of life, full of energy, always open to try new things. We had a great time together. I'm so glad I got to spend those months with him. I'll miss him a lot.

My favorite memory of Mike was his total enjoyment of holidays. First he would make sure that all the correct "fixings" were on hand. Then he would spend a lot of time putting them together. He came by this enjoyment naturally thru his mother, Elaine. Mike would make sure that she continued to enjoy the holidays. After a ham and a turkey, plus all the side dishes - Mike would echo Elaine in saying "we did'nt want to fuss."

We will forever remember Mike as a unique and special person. I personally will never forget his kindness to my son. His kindness, humor, intelligence, warmth - are just part of how we will remember him. We are shocked and saddened that he is gone. His brother Greg was just incredible in caring for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the entire family. I will never never forget Mike.

As I sit here trying to think of what to say, I am smiling a huge smile. That is the reaction even now I have when I think of Uncle Mike.

There is one amusing memory I must share. We had a dog named Caesar. Mike loved him and he loved Mike. Of course Mike was a tease and the dog was not spared. Mike would come in our house big as life. Caesar would greet him with a tail wagging so hard his butt would swing from side to side. Mike would grab his head and "Peter Piper" him. ...

Uncle Mike was one of a kind. His sense of humor and quick wit was contagious. I didn't know him that well until my family took a vacation out to California. I remember walking up to the door, and there was Mike ready with a hug and "how are you doing"? We ended up staying for a whole month. Mike, Greg and I would go to the gym each day and play some pick up basketball. Those were some great times.

Mike will always be remembered as a great role model for me and I will always try to...

Where to begin? Some of my fondest childhood memories involve my uncle Mike. Picking me up in his Trans Am to "go cruise for chicks" (I was twelve at the time), being entertained by his endless stream of animated stories and jests, hearing him call out "Michael Mouse" when he would walk into the house, being picked up to go to work with him on Saturdays (we would "work" for about an hour then spend the remainder of the day having fun) and just generally watching him engage and amuse those...

We all miss Mike so much. He was so much fun to be around. Family was so important to him.

We want to thank our brother/uncle Greg for his loving care of Mike. Greg is an extraordinary man and we can never repay all that he has done for our family.

Mike was my brother. I will miss his spirit, his warm personality and his undying loyalty toward his family and friends. Rest in peace dear brother. Love, Sharon

All of us at WorldNet will miss Mike. He was part of our family here and was liked by everyone.
