Not sure what to say?

I met Mike through AC. Mike backed me up from the Front Counter. He was always approachable and easy with advice. He will be missed greatly.

I met Mike through my brother Rob.

I have a great memories of Bubba. One of the best is, when we were golfing at Valley Ridge and a lightning storm hit. As we were heading back to the club house, Bubba said that the odds of getting hit by lightning were somewhere near one million to one. No sooner did he say that when lightning did strike a tree about 50 yards away.

We both laughed and Bubba said, "See, I told you that the odds were a million to one!"

Your dad...

I met Mike at the slo-pitch diamond! Dear Madison, I have many stories about your Dad... You will grow up to learn that whatever you set your mind to, your dad will be with you every step of the way! Your dad was as good a friend that anybody could ever ask for, and wherever he went, he was loved and had a lot of FUN! He loves you and is with you - always! Love Uncle Newy

I met Mike through Jimmy & Glee. He liked to call me "Gramps", because I was the oldest guy on our team. One solid memory I have is when we would play hockey at SAIT and then we would head to Hurley's in Kensington. Big Mike ordered 100 Hot Wings and the bartender said "If you can eat all 100, they're free!" Big Mike said "No Problem". And when Cory arrived with more of our players, Cory and Mike ordered another hundred wings and ate those too! He was a great big fun guy!

I met Mike while we were both working for The Calgary Herald.

I was only 18 years old at the time but we became fast friends. We formed a ball team and called ourselves "On Parole".

It was the beginning of many, many wonderful memories.

A memory that I would like to share with Madison is that Mike and I became roommates for a few years when we were both in our very early 20's. Our house was the site of so many memorable parties and get togethers. Too many to...

I met Mike at The Calgary Herald where we worked together and quickly became friends. We decided to move in together and rented a house in the community of Varsity with Brad Hillard.

A memory that I would like to share with Madison is hard because I have so many good memories of your Dad. One story can't do justice to the kind of person that he was.

We had so many great memories and so much fun together. He was the kind of person who was always there for his friends. I...

I met Mike at a baseball tournament that my very good friend Trudy was playing on his team. Trudy later became Mike's roommate and this is when my friendship with Mike grew.

A memory that I would like to share with Madison is about a trip we made to Las Vegas to cheer on The Stampeders. Mike was a great fan of the football team, we cheered on the Stamps at many home games. He brought our cheer squad to Vegas to support the team. We did the trip in a seven passenger min-van, and...
