Not sure what to say?

Having thought my first message didn't go through, I endeavoured to place another. I am proud of my beautiful brother Mike and the rest of my siblings equally. We wil all miss our "6" sibling get togethers, so much love, fun and laughter ..... Marylou

I have made 2 entries as I didn't think the 1st one went through. Nevertheless I could write and write and talk about my darling brother over and over. Pride doesn't come close to how I felt about Mike.

Marylou, Townsville Qld

My name is Marylou "Crimston" Lewis and I am the first born sister of Michael Joseph Crimston. My first memories of Mike go back many years, in fact from the age of 3, so obviously I have known and loved Mike for over 50 years.

The mischief and fun loving times Mike, Terry and I shared were wonderful and plentiful and boy we had lots of fun and gots into lots of trouble.

We were a large Catholic family with not a lot of material things but our parents were proud...

My memories of my eldest brother and "mentor" Michael Joseph Crimston go back for me to the age of 3yrs. So yes, I am Marylou, Mike's 1st born sister and I knew and loved Mike for over 50 years. We lost our father in 1982 and Mike was always there for those "what do I do"? type questions. He supported our wonderful Mum as well.

I could tell many a story of the mischief Mike, Terry and I got up to but they were so funloving and plentiful I wouldn't know where to start.

I first met Crimmo in the early 70's, he was Crimmo and I was Surpy and this is how it has been for the past 40 years.

He was one of nature's gentlemen. Anne and I just loved Crimmo to bits and whenever passing through town he would always go out of his way to drop in for a chat, have a cup of tea and sometimes stay for dinner.

I remember that he never shook my hand, his welcome to Anne and me would be a big smile for all, a kiss and a hug for "his Annie" and a hug and...

The passing of my beautiful brother is so hard to endure but I am forever grateful for the love and support he has shown me my entire life. He will live on in my heart forever. Annie

I am saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike worked in the office next to mine in Williamtown in 2001; I have fond memories of popping my head in for our regular chats. An absolute gentleman.
