Ed & Family
I just want you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and comfort you.

TO MIKES FAMILY,
ALL OF YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS. YOU ARE ON MY MIND SO MUCH.

ED AND CARLENE, THANK YOU FOR SHARING MIKE WITH US AS YOUNGSTERS. THE MILES FROM HANOVER/CAROLINE TO MILBORO SPRINGS WERE SHORTER WHEN SHARED WITH MIKES LAUGHTER AND SILLINESS. THANKS FOR ALWAYS BEING EXAMPLES TO US AS TEENAGERS AND FOR INSTILLING IN MIKE AND MICHELLE THE LOVE OF GOD, THE RESPECT OF FAMILY AND THE DEDICATION TO FREINDS.

MICHELLE AND FAMILY,
I KNOW YOUR PAIN...

The Crisp Family:

Words cannot express the shock, sorrow, and disbelief I felt when I heard the news about Mike. He always held a very special place in my heart, and I have such wonderful memories of not only him but you as well. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Phillippians 4:7 "...and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds..."

Michael:
My friend on earth, God's angel in heaven.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Crisp,
My sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. My heart breaks to hear such sad news. Mike and I went to church camp together in Blowing Rock, NC and many weekend retreats. We thought we were in love as young kids, but we lived so far away from each other that the only contact that we could really have was letters and maybe a phone call every now and again. I lived in Princeton, WV. I can remember at one of the retreats that we attended at...

Uncle Edwin, Aunt Carlene, Michelle and Family,
I want you to know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many fond memories of the years I spent in your home and in church. At the family reunion Michelle, Mike and I reminisced about different times we had growing up. I will cherish the time I had with Mike always. Please know that if there's anything I can do, I will. I love all of you!!!

It was a terrible shock to hear of Mike's passing. Rob's email threw me for such a loop that I immediately called him. To Ed and Carlene and the entire family we send our deepest sympathies. I know that God will see you through this difficult period, just place your trust in Him.

I have many fond memories of Mike and Rob growing up together, but the one that stands out the most was the chorus, (Why Worry), they would often sing together at the church. It always brought a smile...
