I went to school with Michael in Newcastle,I also had the pleasure of racing with him in the Newcastle Police Boys Club Cycling Club. Michael was always the gentleman,a great cyclist,but above all a loyal mate.I was devastated to learn of his passing. Rob Bernasconi

I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THAT MIKE OF "FUNNEL WEB STAMPS" HAS PASSED AWAY - I STARTED TO HAVE MANY DEALINGS WITH MIKE ABOUT STAMPS IN 2002 AND ALWAYS RECEIVED THEM IN REGISTERED ENVELOPES NICE AND NEAT - I ALWAYS LOOKED SO MUCH FORWARD RECEIVING MY STAMPS FROM MIKE! I STILL KEPT THE OLD ENVELOPES FROM MIKE TO STORE SOME OF MY GERMAN STAMPS BEFORE I PROCESSED THEM IN TO STAMP ALBUMS ! I AM REALLY SAD ! MIKE YOU HELPED ME A LOT WITH MY STAMPS - THANK YOU SOOOOO VERY MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P....
