CROSBY, Michael John (Mike) - On 12th October, peacefully after a long illness, aged 72 years, of Upperby, very dearly loved husband of Sheila, much loved dad of Gary and Kenton, dear father-in-law of Lucy and Elise, and a loving grandad of Daisy, Lilly, Florence and Thomas, also a dear brother of Terry, Roger and Peter. Funeral service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 20th October at 10.20a.m. Friends please accept this intimation. No flowers by request, donations if desired to be divided between Moot Lodge and Barrack Court, both c/o Kennedy and Ferguson Funeral Directors, 87 Blackwell Road, Carlisle. Tel. 01228 515191.

Deepest sympathy to Sheila and family from Michael's Canadian cousins, Beverly Matthews,( Spruce Grove, AB.) and Marilyn Gillies, (Lethbridge, AB.) We met Michael, Sheila and sons Gary and Kenton in Carlisle at our late Aunt Kathy and Uncle Sid's home in 1980. We'll always have fond memories of Mike and Sheila taking us to the pub and listening to his band. What a night we had! May the peace of Christ be with you all at this time.
