Not sure what to say?

Working with Mike was so much fun. I walked into the kitchen for the six by tour. And, Mike was sitting at the table. I said how are you doing Mike Mike just shook his head and told me I couldn´t sit at the table with them. I asked him why? He said this was his attitude adjustment area looked at me and we both laughed our heads off. Mike was a good friend and a Firefighter. I think of you often Mike and the memories always make me smile. Rest in peace, my friend.

Sleep Peacefully Brother Firefighter.

I remember working with "Mickey" Dannecker and smile every time I do! I was an officer in Engine Co 164 and just knew every time I worked with mickey the tour would go by quickly...his humor caused everybody to laugh all tour long. Mickey was a firefighters firefighter and he will be missed but not forgotten. Rest well my friend, I think of you often.

Thank you, Mr. Dannecker, for your service to our country as well as New York City as a New York Bravest. May you rest now in a well deserved peace.

Mike was a highly motivated and dedicated firefighter for 32 years. It was an honor to have worked with him in the FDNY. I'll miss his great personality and warm smile. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
