Bill Schneider here, I was in "A" Co 1/46th Inf and in the same 2nd plt with Michael , On 2 July 1968 my plt was hit by mortars that wounded 17 of us, 14 seriously, It was Michael , and the other plt medics which were still close to us. that prevented many of us from becoming KIA's, His immediate attention was so vital as time is of essence in those situations,,, Over the years I have become more appreciative of out Medics,,,,,,," May God Keep and Bless All combat Medics and us Old...

Dear Cheryl, I'm so saddened to hear of Michael's passing. I don't go on my computer everyday and only get the Sunday News; but I didn't check the obituaries. We were talking at your Mom's Wake about Michael and his illness. However, I had no idea of the seriousness. He was always such a pest when we were growing up. I'm truly sorry for your loss. He is gone from your life, but he will never leave your heart. By the way, we never called him "Mike" it was always Michael. Take care of...
