Not sure what to say?

I was closer to Mike than anybody else in the family. Unfortunately, life pulled us in separate ways as adults. I will always cherish the time we had together. I will always have you in my heart Mike. Love Beth

Dorothy&I only heard of Mike's passing yesterday 11/28/09.We are sorry to hear of his passing. His dad would bring me to salem a couple weeks in the summer time.Dale & mike & I had fun riding bicycle's way back then we had fun.Wish Someone had told us of his passing.Dorothy Alvin & Family.

To the Davis family,
We met Mike when we were in our "hayday",so to speak. Playing hoops in South Salem, Mike quickly became our 5th man on the court. His trash talking, when we won, led us to dub him "FRANCHISE". We lose touch as time passes, but I would see Mike around Salem from time to time and talk. Each time I would be reminded of Bruce Springstien's "Glory Days". Each time I would leave with a smile on my face. Mike was a good friend and will be missed, but we will never...

Vivian and Virginia, I understand your grief at this time; however, there will be a wonderful reunion when we all will meet again in heaven. Keep the faith and know that God is with you to give you the comfort that only He can give. Our prayers are with you as well as the rest of the family.
In Christian love,
Frank & Pat Davis

To the Davis Family,
As I think of Mike, I am reminded of some of the most special times of my life playing basketball at South Salem ball court. My brother David (Legs), Stan and I were always there, as Mike seemed to be too. He was always great to be around. I enjoyed his friendship. We knew Mike as Franchise. Dale please accept my condolences.

My Prayers are with all the Davis family

My thoughts are with your family during this time. I have been away from Salem/Roanoke for a long time but remember Mike when living on Gordon Street as well as high school.

Warm Regards,
Lee Lawson

To the Davis Family:

I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing, but know he is at peace now with no more pain. Mike was such a witty guy, always having something funny to say and a good guy. May God be with each of you and hold you close during this time of your grief. I love you all.
