When I started with Westwood Fire Department he helped me and treated me like a friend and helped me learned a lot from him.
Thank you Mike. I will never forget you.

We wanted to express our sympathy to Kelly, Jesse, and the entire De Loof family. We'll keep all of you in our prayers during this difficult time.

Long ago Mike was one of the "young" fireman. Son of firefighter Mel.
I was the chiefs kid and Mike always looked out for me like a big brother. One of his first sits at the station I put a nail through my foot. He fixede right up.
I always enjoyed seeing Mike.
He has a fine fire crew waiting for him. See you later Mike.

Dear Myra and family we were so surprised to here of the passing of Mike. You all will be in our prayers. Having known Mike for over 40 years and served with him at WWFD will miss him. May God bless you during the coming days.
