In 1971 after five heart attacks my 42-year-old father was sent home from KU Med Center in Kansas City with. forget While I was serving in the USAFR, I has a patient with a large abdominal aortic aneurysm who needed surgical intervention whom Dr.DeBakey accepted immediately for operation at Methodist Hospital. The patient retuned to me after the operation and he was grateful and full of praise for Dr.DeBakey for his kindness and gentle expert service.
