Not sure what to say?

I met Mike in March '99 at Foxwoods. he came to LI and I went to NH many times thru the summer. Mike was a great guy who I know is being terribly missed by his girls, family and all the great friends on the lake. I am grateful to have known Mike if only for a short time. my condolences to all family and friends.

I am so saddened to read about Mike's passing and am so sorry to his entire family for your loss.

I was recently "searching" for people from the past hoping to re-connect when I found this notice. I knew Mike from Peddie. He was larger than life on that campus, everybody loved being around him. From what I was able to find it sounds like Mike had a full and wonderful life - although way too short. He always had a passion for music, I was fortunate to have been an occassional...

I feel terrible about the loss of Mike. I had just been thinking about him a month or so ago, wondering what he was up to, not having seen him since we were 15 or so. We had all swum together as kids at the Malden Y and then AAU. We had a great relay team, me doing back, Mike doing fly, Chris Norton doing breast, and John Munsey doing free. Mike was the star, of course, and we watched his many duels with Quincy's Jackie Gauthier, as Carmen, Bill Munsey and my father Al would drive us all...

I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Mike at UNC and even spent a long weekend with your family at your home on the lake. He was fun to watch when he coached swimming that summer in Chapel Hill as the kids loved his enthusiasm and energy. He always had his guitar and what an accomplishment to produce his CD.

My heartfelt condolences to all of the DeCarlo family.

I just heard this sad and shocking news. My heart goes out to his entire family. I will cherish my time with Mike, and my love songs, forever.

I knew Mike in college when we were teammates - a great guy, full of life, always smiling, always fun, ...

Our old coach informed many of the team alumni. I know Mike is being fondly remembered by many, many, many friends. He was one in a million.

I just heard this sad news. Mike was a burning light. The world has lost a generous, beautiful soul. I met him several years ago when he was working on his CD and was blown away by his energy and his captivating smile.

I worked with Mike at Brox for many years , I saw him last winter when he surprised me with a visit. Mike loved life and lived it to the fullest. I can not express my saddness , he was loved by everyone. Judi Smart
