Not sure what to say?

I have just, recently, been aware of the passing of Mike. It was received with very deep sorrow and memories of days gone by. Mike was a hero figure to me while growing up. I followed his military career with the greatest interest. Mike helped me a great deal after I finished my military stint, and I lived with him for a short while when I located in Huntsville in 1958.
I will always remember him, and his kindness to me and my family.

I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Mike's passing. Please let me know if there's anything I (or Lisa or Mom) can do. I wish I could have gotten down there in time for the service, please give me a call when you get back to VA.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I always enjoyed listening to his stories. I remember how he and my grandfather enjoyed talking when they met, and he always made a point to ask me about him. Your family is in my prayers.

Dearest Uncle Johnny, Aunt Rosemary, Mike Deegan Family and all other cousins:

I will remember Uncle Mike with great fondness. He was always interested in what was happening in my life and often sent wonderful long letters to update me about those near and dear to him. I wish I could come to be with you at this sad time, but I hope you all know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Mother sends her best as well.

Love and best wishes,
Lisa Deegan...
