My deepest sympathies to the Deming family. So very sorry for you loss. So many memories from 13th Street and beyond...Thoughts and prayers to you all.

With deepest sympathy to the Deming family on behalf of the Manczak/Kanicki families. I worked w/ Mike at Handy MS...he treated me well knowing I was a "Kanick" and knowing dad in the sports & school community! The past couple yrs we would run into each other at Jacks fruit mkt or the Y and catch up...Mike ' s friendly demeanor & humor will be missed in our world! Becky & Matt Manczak

Dear Jim,
We were so upset to hear of Mike's passing; in the words of Craig, "Mike was a true character." Craig, of course, has so many memories of their time spent together playing football and basketball. I had a journalism class with Mike, in which he promptly gave Sister Elizabeth Rose the nickname "Silly Rose." So funny. That was Mike, he could always make us laugh. We are thinking of you at this very sad time.

Mike was a wonderful caring man. He provided me with good conversation most days along with many others in his daily travels. I will deeply miss our conversations, daily coaching and close friendship. I'll especially miss all the flack he'd give me...that was the best because I loved to give it right back to him and we'd laugh and laugh. I miss you bunches Mike! I hope you are resting peacefully.

Jim & Family,

Sorry for your loss of Mike. Many of my All Saints coaches molded me for life. Mike was no exception. He instilled in me a competitiveness and intensity. Mike pushed you to your limits so you could recognize your potential in sports and beyond. When we ran into each other afterwards he always took time to say hello. Rest In Peace !
