Not sure what to say?

Mike had the most amazing memory and ability to remember names. I never saw him that he did not greet me with a smile. I learned so much about Jesus and His message to our world from Mike. Mike was truly a man of God, and I was blessed to call him my friend.

My sister Kathy Martin, who also knew and loved Mike in our early years, sent me Mike´s 3 books from Amazon. Understanding Jesus in the 21st Century, Blessings Abound: 50 Years of Praying in Public, and especially Love Whispers: Reflections of a Seasoned Pastor. What a kind, thoughtful way to help me remember him. Deepest sympathy to Sharon, his family and all those who loved and appreciated him.

Knew the Dent family from childhood. We lived around the corner from each other. Went to school with Marilyn and graduated with Gilbert. Wonderful Christian family.

Condolences to Mike´s family. I grew up with Mike and knew him practically all of my growing up years. My family (Rush) went to the same church and schools as Gilbert, Marilyn, and Mike. He was an amazing and kind person. I´m sure your hearts must be aching with pain and hope you all treasure your wonderful memories. Sincerely Valerie Rush Sexton

"I´d rather see a sermon than hear one any day." A friend from childhood, Mike exemplified everything good in the Methodist Church and Christian faith. God bless his beautiful soul, reunited as he so devoutly believed with his parents, and Gilbert, and Marilyn.
