Not sure what to say?

Mike, Will always remember story about you climbing out on gangway to install fan that blows the flag at UC. We at Tribeca think of you every time flag starts moving at end of anthem at Hawks game. Bless your sweet spirit.

I just heard about Mike. I met Mike first as a patient and then we became good friends. He was a truly special person, big hearted, caring, and as a friend just couldn't do enough. He touched a lot of people lives and will be missed.

I remember Mike from grade school. Colleen and I had a wonderful friendship. I remember going over to there house when I was in grade school. This is a very sad thing. He was such an easy going kid. I have lost touch with Colleen. I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with this family. Love to all of you.

Marijane,

I talked with Peg and she shared with me the very sad news about Michael. There are no words for such a deep, deep loss, but please know that I am thinking of you and your family and you are all in my prayers.

Matt and family,

I posted the photo I mentioned of Mike with some of the regulars at Tribeca cigar store. It's on the Legacy obit page for Mike. (Never got your text) If you need me to send by text, send me message at 312-560-8122.

So glad myself and the other guys got to know him. We will think of him when we see his favorite chair--now empty--and the flag unfurled at UC.

Bless all of you.

I just heard this terrible news from a Fenwick classmate. Mike was a great guy who was a true friend. I feel bad that we lost touch years ago. My deepest sympathies go out to Mike's family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Bob Spahn Jr.

I can't even express in words how terrible I feel for the entire Devaney family. I have known Mike for a long time and he was always just a nice guy. He was so sweet and had a twinkle in his eye that let you know that he cared about you. His smile made you smile and he was that type of person that you instantly liked and wanted to be around. He will be missed by many. Please know that you are all in my thoughts.

Our deepest sympathy to the Devaney Family. We are saddened by you loss and will keep you in our thoughts & prayers.
