My dear girlfriend, my heart is with you always...one thing we can all say is whenever Mikey was around, there were always laughs...the last time I seen him me, you and Mikey were sitting out at the bar in Lana's backyard...and I just remember the smile on his face..and the laughter we had, hadn't seen him in a while than, but I remember that big hug I got, that is what I will cherish...and I can't wait to see you, so I can give you that hug...RIP Mikey❤

I can still hear his voice and him calling me "pal." He was old school in every great way. A man's man. Will never forget him and always love what he stood for.

To My Pal Mike,
There aren't enough words to describe how I feel about you. I think about you every day. You were always there for me. Whenever I felt down or had a problem I wasn't sure how to handle, your words inspired me and you never led me in the wrong direction. When we got together to talk, your words of wisdom carried me through the tough times.
I know you're not suffering anymore, but God do I miss you. Ever since I was a little kid, I always looked up to you.And your stories were classics. I still laugh thinking about them. I talk to you when I pray and I know you're up there listening. You're a great man, husband, father, and grandfather. Even though I can't call or text you, your spirit lives on. I know you're watching your family from above and you will keep them all safe.
Love you Mike.
Your Pal,
Frank

My Dear Cousin Michael,

Where do I start "Cuz" (as you would say when you wrote)?...where do I end? Aunt Sue/Uncle Mike, Cousin Carl.....so many....

In so many ways you are in a better spot than us Cuz! You fought the good fight!. Always a pillar of strength and a man of Great Love! Always thoughtful of everyone. From the day you explained to me your cancer - this new fight "God allowed" (you said) to take on - because he knew you could handle it - from that day it was nothing short of miraculous...the unselfish generous fighting spirit you showed! It just continued the theme of your whole life that I came to know......Strength, Toughness, Always that Smile. When in your presence, you made others feel that they were the most important!

Well now, my dear cousin....go to your reward, rest in the embrace of Our Blessed Mother, the caress of your daughter, all continuing the unselfish Love, care, and nurturing your devoted Bride Ninfa gave so generously to you.

Cuz, how we would Love Upstate NY and continue to remember when we talked about the great times we had up in the mountains and at Aunt Sue and Uncle Mike's in Ozone Park, all of us cousins! What a life, what a blessing! You are missed Cuz. It is so profoundly sad that you must leave us. But you fought the Good Fight...We all learned and became better and stronger because of you and your example. It is sad for us to say good-bye to Loved ones. But you left a strong spirit, great joy, great Love, great strength for your wife, your children, your cousins.

Being so generous, you would always remembered to drop a line every Holiday! I would see if I could beat you to the "punch", to the "text" actually. But you had a way of staying ahead of me. A great guy...a great cousin. I brag about your strength.

You and I always found a way to talk, to write over the years, no matter where we were. The beauty of our Faith is that we can still "talk" through prayer, through the "Communion of The Saints", which you are a part of with us left here on earth. You are stronger now, and at rest, because of where you are.

I will take a page from your book "Cuz": Take care! Love You Cuz!,

Cousin Gerard

Our family is deeply saddened of the loss of our beloved brother-in-law Michael Devito who passed away Thursday morning, May 21st. As you all know, he has been suffering from pancreatic cancer for some time now and battled this "BEAST" head on fearless from day one until the very end leaving us all with the BEST of MEMMORIES and showing us all to Fight and Never Give up Until the Very end. We are relieved that his passing was peaceful,
painless and in the arms and kisses of his family surrounded by all the Love in the World. Michael is now in Heaven with all the Angels and Saints looking down on us. All our thoughts, sympathy and prayers go to my entire family especially out to my sisiter-in-law Ninfa (you were his Angel until the very end and continue to be ours here on Earth as you continue to lead our family as always) and all our nieces and nephews especially Dominique, Anthony, Michael and Little Mikey. You all are his treasures. God bless all of you and give you the strength to carry on and heal with Michael as your Guardian Angel from Heaven above. With all our love
