Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy for the loss of one of my favorite young man. I loved Michael with all my heart. He was my boy and will never sadly missed. I know he's with Mom Dad and of course Shirley and loving them dearly. Prayers to your family.

It was with great love n pleasure to assist other staff in caring for Michael. Prayers of strength n healing to those left to mourn.

I remember helping Mike and his class swim at the Middle school pool when we were in high school. Every time I saw Mike when we were out he always said hello with his giant smile. We have lost a good soul

Dear Mrs. Stahlnecker, Heather, Chris and Todd, Thinking of you all today. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother and uncle. We love you all very much. With all our love, Dewey, Roccie and Andon

Sending my sincerest condolences to Rich and all of your immediate and extended family. I remember how devoted you were to Michael for many years until the present. He was blessed to have you as such a caring and ever present brother. I know you were blessed to have him in your life too. Cherish the fond memories always.

My cousin Michael's glowing smile and unhesitating optimism, was infectious. He lit up any room he entered. One of my favorite shared moments with Michael was at my wedding about 40 years ago, when he walked up to me, took my hand, led me out on the dance floor and DAZZLED! I was so honored. Love to all from your Boston family.

We all know that Mike was SPECIAL; I don't mean because he had an extra chromosome- he was a special human being. That sweet smile, his loving disposition and his appreciation of a happy time with friends-especially during a meal. We had many a good meal at the Alpha Family Restaurant, usually a breakfast/brunch after Sunday Mass. If Mike sat next to me in church he would always lean over and ask, "Are we going to 'Alpha' after church?" Mike loved to eat; his favorite part of any meal...

As a former neighbor, Mike was blessed with a caring family throughout his life. He would phone me to read the weather report from the newspaper; before the internet. At Holloween, his favorite treat was a bag of Fritos. Many memories of life with Michael. Those were great times. Prayers and love to the entire family.

Many years ago, I was Michael's bus driver, took him to camp and back with several other children. He would always get in the bus, gently pull my glasses up and give me a kiss on the cheek. You never forget Michael as he was such a loving, up beat person and his joyful, amazing Mother would always be there to send him off and greet him when he came back. God be with your family; I am sure a great loss for you all. Deeply sorry. Nancy Hodge
